Bradley K. Glazier - email

Bradley K. Glazier is a trial lawyer, a professor and an arbitrator. A practicing lawyer for more than 25 years, Mr. Glazier has presented dozens of cases to judges, juries and arbitrators. He is a frequent speaker at employment litigation seminars. He has made presentations for the Council on Education in Management, the Michigan Association for Justice and the Institute for Continuing Education, to name a few. He has also been a contributing author to Michigan Chamber of Commerce publications and the quarterly newsletter published by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Glazier has also served as a faculty member for National Business Institute seminars on eminent domain issues.

Mr. Glazier is also active in various bar organizations. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in this prestigious organization is limited to trial lawyers who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. Since 2006, Mr. Glazier has been selected by his peers as a "Michigan Super Lawyer" and was selected to be included in the 2007-2009 Editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialties of labor and employment law. In 2008-2009, Mr. Glazier will serve on The Council of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. In 2009, Mr. Glazier was admitted and elected as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA").

In 2004, Mr. Glazier was elected President for the Western Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and serves on the standing committee reviewing local rules for the same association. He has served on the Jury Representation Committee of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is a member and past chairperson of the Labor and Employment Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

In addition to serving as a trial lawyer, Mr. Glazier is also retained to resolve or help resolve disputes. He serves as a case evaluator in disputes before the Kent County Circuit Court and has been appointed as a referee by the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. Mr. Glazier serves as a mediator who assists in negotiating case settlements. He has completed the training required by the State Court Administrator's Office and is listed on the court-approved civil mediators roster for the Kent County Circuit Court. Mr. Glazier also serves on the national roster of neutral arbitrators maintained by the American Arbitration Association and is a member of the National Arbitration Forum's Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators.

In addition to trying numerous jury trials and judge trials throughout Michigan, Mr. Glazier has argued appeals of cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Michigan Court of Appeals. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Glazier also teaches aspiring lawyers law office management at Cooley Law School as an Adjunct Professor. He maintains a blog entitled "You're Fired" about Michigan employment law.
